John Burnet Hall is the University's smallest undergraduate residence, located next to the Old Course. It consists of a main building with 75 rooms and an annex with 36 en-suite singles. Residents enjoy catered meals during term time and participate in a close-knit community with various events organized by the active student committee, including formal meals, quizzes, and social gatherings.

Getting to John Burnet Hall

The residence enjoys a prime location, being a short walk away from the Gateway, Maths, Physics, and Sciences buildings. Additionally, it is conveniently close to the town center, with just a few minutes' walk to the central streets, and a mere ten minutes away from the Sports Centre.

Building Security

At John Burnet Hall, residents have key fobs for door access and individual room keys for security. The University provides a dedicated 24/7 security team trained in first aid.
