Founder's Building is a historic residence hall at the university, opened by Queen Victoria herself in 1886. It houses undergraduate students and offers various amenities like a dining hall, cafe, chapel, and even a picture gallery. Rooms come in different configurations to suit student needs, with options for singles, singles with washbasins, shared rooms, and even larger rooms.
Getting to Founder's
To reach Founder's Building at Royal Holloway, take a train to Egham from London Waterloo or Reading. From Egham Station, it's a 15-20 minute walk or a short bus/taxi ride. By car, exit the M25 at Junction 13 and follow signs to Egham. On campus, follow signs or ask for directions to the iconic Founder's Building.
