This residence hall, steeped in history and charm, offers a blend of comfort and community that many students find appealing. With its various room configurations, including single en-suite and shared options, it caters to a diverse student body, making it an ideal choice for both undergraduates and postgraduates. The overall atmosphere at Highfield Court is often described as friendly and welcoming, with many students noting the strong sense of community that develops over time. This is particularly beneficial for first-year students who may be new to university life and looking to make connections. What stood out at highfield court was how much thought they put into creating a community among the students. it felt more personal than other accommodations I’ve lived in, with regular events that actually encouraged people to mingle. this made it easier to meet new friends and not just feel like another tenant in a faceless building.

Walking through the common area, I remember the laughter and chatter that filled the space on those rainy afternoons. It felt like everyone was gathered together, swapping stories and advice about essays over instant noodles. That sense of community made even the dullest day a bit brighter, and it was nice knowing you could just pop in and find someone to chat to about anything .

Initially, it seemed alright, but as time went on, it became clear that the cleanliness wasn’t consistent. common areas often felt neglected, which made it less inviting to hang out with friends. for the price, you'd expect a bit more attention to upkeep and a stronger sense of community among students living here.

Wifi speed surprised me here; it was way better than what I expected for student housing. however, the kitchen can feel cramped when everyone is trying to cook at once, which is a bit frustrating. still, being able to jam out to music while I work on assignments makes the space feel more like home

Honestly, highfield court was a bit better than i expected. the mix of quiet study spaces and friendly people made it feel like a good balance, and i figured it might be a bit stuffy given the historical vibe.

Expected a basic and slightly impersonal student dorm experience, but highfield court was a pleasant surprise. way more inviting and homely than most uni accommodations, plus super close to everything i needed.

Easy to bump into people around campus, especially at the common areas where there's always someone to chat with. it feels like a mini community right from the start which was a great way to settle in.

Perfect spot for a spontaneous catch-up with mates, especially when the sun's out and everyone's gathered outside. there's always a sense of community floating around which makes it feel more like a home than just a place to crash. couldn't have picked a better place for my foundation year.

Noticed there's a real mix of people from all over the place, which makes for some interesting conversations and perspectives. whether it's coursework or just chatting in the common areas, everyone seems keen to help each other out.

Moved in thinking it was just any other accommodation, but Highfield Court proved me wrong. the sense of community here is something you don't find everywhere, and I've made loads of friends just hanging around the common areas. I'd definitely choose to stay here again purely for that experience.

Settling into Highfield Court was surprisingly easy because the sense of history here kind of grows on you. the mix of old and new gives the place a distinctive feel, like you're living in both a dorm and a bit of a time capsule. over time, it became more than just a living space; it felt like part of the student experience itself.

Heard it's got that old-school charm which really adds to the atmosphere. someone told me it's just a few minutes away from lectures, making life a lot easier on lazy mornings.

Expected it to be a bit stuffy with all its history, but it turns out to be quite lively and full of surprises.

Sounds of laughter and friendly chatter spill into the hallways of highfield court during the evenings when everyone seems to come alive. it’s brilliant how you can just pop into the common area and instantly find someone interesting to talk to. feels like a tight-knit community where everyone’s welcome, and there's always room for more friends.

Noticed the heavy oak doors that creak slightly when you open them, as if whispering the history of the place into the halls.

Staff at highfield court are genuinely there to help. i remember locking myself out and the receptionist sorted it out with zero fuss. makes you feel like you're being looked after, which is such a relief when you're juggling uni life.
