The Grand Hotel, a university-owned residence, is situated on campus and provides easy access to the city Centre's shops, restaurants, and bars. It offers en-suite rooms arranged along long corridors, with shared kitchen/lounge areas designed for 6-10 occupants. This residence is exclusively available for postgraduate students.

The Grand Hotel offers a prime location, being only a two-minute walk from the campus center and less than five minutes from Newcastle's vibrant array of shops, bars, and restaurants. It holds a special appeal for book enthusiasts, as it is situated above the campus bookshop, Blackwells. Building Security

Each resident gets a key fob and is programmed to be able to swipe to enter the doors of Grand Hotel. Each room has a set of keys and therefore can be locked and unlocked as required.
