Having been an awful pub last year, under new management and after a serious renovation the Stoke is now a great student pub, with reasonably priced pints, good vibe, pool table and loads of seating. The quieter bar on the left when you enter is the best place to sit, and feels more like a pub and isn't quite so bright.
