Walking into Mill on the Exe, I was surprised by how spacious it felt, way more than I expected for a bar. It’s a relaxed place to hang out and get some work done.

Met some interesting folks here, all ages and backgrounds enjoying the scene. Conversations flowed easily over drinks, though the noise level did make it tough to catch everything.

Walking into the Mill on the Exe after a few years, it feels like a familiar friend that hasn't changed much. the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff still seem genuinely invested in making sure everyone feels welcomed, even as the student crowd shifts. it's nice knowing a place can hold its charm and keep that sense of community alive .

Staff were nice enough, but honestly it felt a bit overpriced for what it is. the river view is lovely, though, so maybe worth it for that alone

Ended up at Mill on the Exe without planning to, and wow, what a surprise! wasn't expecting such a perfect spot by the river to enjoy a chat and good food , feels like a mini getaway right in Exeter.
