One of the standout features of Holland Hall is its location. Situated at the top of a hill, it offers a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to the university and the city centre. Students often mention the ease of balancing their academic and social lives, as it is just a short walk to campus and nearby amenities. However, it's worth noting that the hill can be a bit of a climb, which some students may find challenging, especially during inclement weather. Nevertheless, the breathtaking views and tranquil environment make it worth the trek.

The room quality at Holland Hall receives high praise, with many students noting that the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Holland hall was absolutely the best decision I made for accommodation. It is such a beautiful setting. I love having a nice room with an ensuite and the view is an a special bonus is the terrace. It is so lovely to sit and enjoy the views especially so in summer and I think it’s a great way to make friends by not just being constricted to a flat but having people from the whole accommodation all around being able to talk to them and going for dinner with them, although I would say because you’re not in a flat, you have to be a bit more social to make friends .
