Deaconess is a redevelopment project that includes renovating the historic Deaconess Hospital and constructing three new blocks around a central courtyard. It offers a mix of cluster and studio rooms, with 280 single, en-suite bedrooms accommodating three, five, or six bedrooms per flat. Additionally, there are 35 self-contained studio apartments for separate rental.

Getting to Deaconess

The accommodation is 0.6 miles from the George Square (University Campus) and 1.9 miles from the Kings Building. Cardiff has a good bus network, with nearby bus stops operated by Lothian bus services. Edinburgh is bike-friendly, with plenty of cycle lanes.

Building Security

Residents at Deaconess can use their university student cards to swipe and enter the doors. Each room also has a set of keys for individual locking and unlocking.
