David Kato is one of the two new colleges on Campus East. The accommodation and social hub buildings are surrounded by landscaped gardens and a large green space for University and college events.

Featuring modern, en-suite accommodation, you’ll live in contemporary flats, nestled in the pleasant green space of Campus East, close to University facilities. Rooms surround a central hub with social spaces, a communal kitchen (in addition to the one in your flat), study spaces and quiet rooms.

GETTING TO DAVID KATO COLLEGE

The nearest bus stops to David Kato College in Heslington are Badger Wood Walk and Campus East Interchange. You can also use your private vehicle to get there. The residence is a 5-minute walk away from the Pathway College, and a 15-minute walk to the York Sport Village.

BUILDING SECURITY

David Kato College Accommodation has a secure door access, security cameras, and a 24-hour emergency helpline to ensure you stay safe and secure. Each resident's university student card is programmed to be able to swipe to enter the doors. Each room has a set of keys and therefore can be locked and unlocked as requested.
