Located close to the Students’ Union and Sports Centre on Campus West, James College offers catered accommodation, built around landscaped quadrants and lakeside views. It has been offering clean and comfortable accommodation, either en-suite bedrooms or bedrooms with shared bathrooms, in the center of the University of York campus. James has a large dining hall nearby at the Roger Kirk Centre and is also home to the Students’ Union cocktail bar, The Lounge.

GETTING TO JAMES COLLEGE ACCOMODATION

Travel between James College accommodation and York city center takes about 20 minutes walk, which can be reached even faster in just 5 minutes by bike. Buses have free wi-fi and accept contactless payment.

BUILDING SECURITY

At James College Accommodation, residents are given a key fob to swipe for entry through the doors. Each room has its own set of keys, allowing residents to lock and unlock their rooms when needed. Your hall has security that you can contact at night.
