Derwent is one of York’s oldest colleges, located on Campus West and home to two Students' Union-run bars/cafes, as well as a dining hall. It is a 1960s buildings that features a mix of room types in open corridor layouts which are great for socializing. Hence, it is an standard accommodation extension block across the road from main Derwent College. 

GETTING TO DERWENT COLLEGE

Derwent College is situated close to the university Derwent Provosts' Garden and Norman Rea Art Gallery. The nearest bus stops to Derwent College, York in Heslington is University Library. It's a 3 min walk away.  Local bus services operate throughout the day, offering convenient transportation options. You can also use your private vehicle to get there.
