Ran into loads of people i know at O2 Academy, which made an average night way more fun. being on Cowley Road, it's so easy to just wander in after some drinks nearby. staff were relaxed and chill, so didn't feel pressured to do anything but dance and enjoy.

Bouncers were surprisingly chill, which was a relief after hearing all those stories about strict ones at other clubs. bartenders kept things moving even with the huge crowd and managed to have a chat, which made the night feel a bit more personal. probably the friendliest staff in oxford, making the whole experience feel relaxed despite the packed dance floor.
