Undergraduate Accommodation

First-year students are accommodated either in the Waynflete Building or in High Street and Longwall Street properties, located outside the College walls, about a 5 minute walk from the College. Second and third year undergraduates mainly reside ‘inside-walls’, in Grove Buildings, New Building, Cloisters Attic, St Swithun’s Quad, Longwall Quad and Chaplain’s Quad, but also in High Street and Longwall Street properties.

Graduate Accommodation

Graduates at Magdalen are guaranteed housing in their first two years, provided they have requested it by 16 June in their year of entry, following receipt of confirmation of their place. Graduates live "outside walls" in the new and modernised complex at Holywell Ford, in 1 Rose Lane, Cowley Place, the Daubeny Building and other High Street or Longwall Street properties.
