Undergraduate Accommodation

Freshers are allocated a room on the main college site in the heart of Oxford. All of the main site rooms cost the same price, so the allocation is random and you find out which room is yours when you arrive at the start of your first term.

In the subsequent years of the course, students are able to live in one of the college's south Oxford annexes, in a north Oxford townhouse, or in one of the remaining available rooms on the main site.

Abingdon House

Abingdon House provides 65 single bedrooms in a combination of townhouses and purpose-built accommodation. This annexe is 1.2km from the main college site. The college also owns several townhouses adjacent to Abingdon House on Western Road and Abingdon Road. These houses provide single bedrooms.

Folly Bridge

This purpose-built accommodation provides 85 en-suite bedrooms.

Jericho

The college owns one house in Jericho on Leckford Road with 14 single bedrooms. The property is a 15-minute walk from the main college site.

Park Town

Hertford owns two houses on Banbury Road, a 15-minute walk from the main college site.

Summertown

Summertown is situated 2.5km from the city centre, yet easily accessible - half an hour on foot or ten minutes by bike or bus. The college has a large pair of redbrick houses on Banbury Road converted into student accommodation.

Warnock House

Geoffrey & Mary Warnock House are purpose-built accommodation annexes at the bottom of St Aldate's, adjacent to the River Thames and just a kilometre from the main college site. There are around 70 single bedrooms here.

Graduate Accommodation

The college endeavours to house as many first-year graduates as possible, but cannot guarantee accommodation for all applicants. If your programme is longer than a year, you will be eligible to enter a ballot for housing in your subsequent years of study.

Park Town

The college houses at 8,9,10 and 11 Winchester Road offer single bedrooms with shared bathrooms, kitchens and laundry facilities.

Jericho

The college has two properties at 63 and 64 St Bernard's Road; both offer single bedrooms with shared kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities.

Summertown

Hertford's graduate flat at 214b Banbury Road offers six single bedrooms with laundry facilities available at the college's other property across the road. 189 Banbury Road is a large 16-bedroom house which offers shared bathrooms, kitchens and laundry facilities.

St Stephen's House

Hertford has arranged an annexe of accommodation within St Stephen's comprised of several floors in one wing. This annexe is integrated in the wider community of St Stephen's.
