Falkner Eggington, our largest self-catered hall on campus, derives its name from two distinguished figures. The first, Harold Everett Falkner, was the founder and former head of Aeronautical Engineering. The second, Alfred Thomas Eggington, a recipient of the Military Cross in 1916, served as the former headmaster of Loughborough College. Falkner Eggington Hall is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and strong community spirit, fostered by its diverse mix of residents from various ages and cultures.

At Falkner Eggington, residents are given a key fob to swipe for entry through the doors. Each room has its own set of keys, allowing residents to lock and unlock their rooms when needed.
