The Royal Albert Hall, the most well-known stage in the world, first opened its doors in 1871. It is also among the most well-known and popular tourist destinations in London. Over the years, it has hosted more than 150,000 concerts, including those by Wagner, Sinatra, The Beatles, Beyonce, Muhammad Ali, and Adele. It is also the location of the renowned BBC Proms. While the theater is best known at night for its performances, it is also open throughout the day for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, and guided tours of the space.
