William Penney Hall offers budget-friendly accommodation at competitive rental fees compared to other single standard rooms. Although it has certain limitations, such as shared kitchens among 14 students and limited common areas, the room sizes and furniture are comparable to other halls at Silwood. Please note that the building is compact, and noise-sensitive individuals may find it less suitable.

Getting to William Penney

The remaining halls on the Silwood Park Campus are close to William Penney. A post office and general store are accessible on foot from Silwood Park, and local bus services run twice daily. From the mainline train stations in Ascot or Sunningdale, connections can be made to locations further away.

Building Security

Each resident's university student card is programmed to be able to swipe to enter the doors of William Penney. Each room has a set of keys and therefore can be locked and unlocked as requested.
