Walk into this place and you might be surprised by how social it can get, especially in the communal areas where everyone gathers. what I found lacking was the kitchen space; it gets crowded during peak times and can feel a bit chaotic. despite that, it’s easy to find new friends, so just know when to pop in for a chat and when to steer clear of meal prep.

Walking into this place feels like stepping into a lively community where everyone’s just as eager to make the most of university life. Whether it's students sharing a meal or laughing over games, the energy feels warm and welcoming. It's nice to have a spot where you can connect with others while still having your own space when you need it.

Settled in pretty quickly thanks to how chatty the other students are. it's easy to find someone to grab a bite or just vent about assignments with. ended up enjoying the mix of nationalities and interests around, which made everyday interactions genuinely interesting.

Staff always seemed approachable and were genuinely helpful. when something in our flat needed fixing, they were on it quickly, which made everything much less stressful.

Noticed people are open to hanging out in the common areas and it's easy to meet others. most students here are serious about their studies but also keen to have some fun together.

Walking into thurso street just felt welcoming right from the start. there's something comforting about knowing you're surrounded by other students in the same boat, and that sense of community made settling in a breeze.

Rooms here felt surprisingly homey for student digs 😅 made settling in so much easier. location was ace too, everything in reach and a fun bunch of people to hang with. really appreciated the mix of undergrads and postgrads.

Got this charming mix of being close enough to uni that you can roll out of bed and still make it to lectures on time, but also near enough to some decent spots for a spontaneous night out. the noise level's surprisingly manageable considering all the students packed in.

Didn't expect to find such vibrant social spaces tucked away next to the uni. the mix of people from all walks of life really stood out and made me feel right at home from day one.

Heard from a mate that it's dead convenient for making it to early lectures on time. hard to argue with the location since it saves a good chunk of the morning rush.

Settling into Thurso Street has been pretty smooth for me so far. being so close to uni has given me more time to explore the neighbourhood and find my usual hangout spots.

Gotta say, i was pretty impressed with the location of thurso street. being able to walk to lectures in just a few minutes was a huge plus. rooms are decent and having an en-suite bathroom makes life so much easier than shared ones.

Lived here for a semester and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to make friends with neighbours just by hanging out in the common areas. everyone's in the same boat, so it didn't take long for movie nights and communal dinners to become a thing, which definitely made missing home a bit easier.

Really liked how quiet it was at night, which is great for studying or just getting a good night's sleep without any disruptions. some halls can be super noisy, but this place seemed to attract students who respect each other's space.
