Talybont South is a component of the expansive Talybont complex, renowned as the University's largest residential area, offering a plethora of social amenities, including top-notch sports facilities. This purposefully designed community is conveniently located in proximity to vast parklands and provides easy access to numerous academic buildings, with most of them just a short walking or cycling distance away.

Getting to Talybont Complex

Cardiff University benefits from a robust bus network, with conveniently located bus stops. The Talybont Complex is within walking distance of both the main building (1 mile, 20 minutes on foot) and the Heath Park campus (1.25 miles, 25 minutes on foot). Students can also take advantage of the bus service between the Main Building and Heath Park Campus, accessible from North Road and Gabalfa Interchange respectively.

Building Security

Residents of Talybont South can use their university student cards to swipe and access the doors. Each room is equipped with a set of keys, allowing residents to lock and unlock their rooms as needed.
